Ireland’s National Development Plan (NDP) has been reviewed and released today. The outcomes include increasing projected spending to €275.4bn by 2035, with a significant focus on housing (€28bn by 2030) and transport infrastructure. On the face of it, the overall committed spending represents the largest capital investment plan in Ireland’s history. We examine the details.
