We’re a non-partisan, local government membership organisation and an independent voice for the sector. We are trusted by staff and councillors at our 260+ member councils to build capabilities, practical insights and connections.
In our most recent annual survey, 93% of our members reported trusting the LGIU. We take great pride in having earned a strong reputation through actions of integrity, support and constant growth to adapt alongside our members and the challenges they face.
