The pace of climate change seems to be speeding up everyday. Scientists today warned that the latest climate change predictions are already out of date and we are likely to see sea level rise by 1m by 2100. 

But what does that really mean? In the UK it means flooding. Before we even see areas disappearing under sea water there will be a dramatic increase in events such as the summer floods in 2007.

This map gives you an idea about what that means for your home town. 

The Local Government Flood Forum convenes at the end of March. The pressures on to make changes that mean our communities are better protected in the future. Are you ready for flooding as a part of everyday life?
