This year, LGiU is running a series of short, useful events exclusively for LGiU member councils. Our Policy Cafés are spaces for our members to get together and talk about the issues that matter to them.
We’ve already been investigating the future of local government finance, public services and democracy. Now we’d like to bring together officers from our member councils to talk about the issues – or rather the possibilities – facing local government right now. From economic innovation to redesigning local democracy to smart cities, we’re holding these events up and down the country.
Upcoming events include:
- TBC, Haringey/Islington
- TBC, Derbyshire
- TBC, Carlisle
