The “Big Society” is about more than cuts

CPSP Director John Tizard and Turning Point Chief Executive Lord Adebowale argue in The Guardian that the “Big Society” can be more “than a thin veil for spending cuts” if it is used to:

…create new relationships between public services and their users. For the idea to be effective, perceptions of public services need to be radically changed. Critical to success is the quality of how services are commissioned.
