CPSP has released its new report “Ensuring High Quality Public Services“. It was jointly commissioned by CPSP and UNISON and sponsored by Serco and Compass. CPSP Director John Tizard said that:
“The key significance of this report is the alignment of two major outsourcing companies and the leading public sector trade union and their joint calling for decent workforce management, practice and terms and conditions when services are outsourced; for commissioners and procurers to take their responsibilities to their workforce seriously; and for the involvement of the workforce and its trade unions in every stage of commissioning; procurement; service design; and delivery.”
