The parking sector is evolving at a high pace, with new developments such as the National Parking Platform likely to impact the way that local authorities procure and deliver parking services in the future.
We know from our members that parking can often be a challenging service for local authorities to deliver. It can also be a service where potentially conflicting strategic aims intersect, for example, active travel and local economic development.
The aim of this survey – which is supported by RingGo – will be to collect anonymous data on parking strategies and management arrangements as well as views and awareness of future parking innovations and options.
We will use the findings to publish a series of reports and other resources over the course of 2023.
