As part of our week of reflection – Unlocked: local stories from a global pandemic – we took some time to get staff reflections on year of change and challenge. Ingrid Koehler spoke to new staffers Lucy Zhu and Melissa Thorne who joined LGIU during the first lockdown and after almost a yer have never met anyone from the team. She talked with Barry O’Brien who had to change his model of delivering our learning and development work overnight and to great success.
Stories from councils are what we do and this episode includes an interview with Karen Campbell a former council officer and the writer in residence at Dumfries and Galloway Council during this past year. We also caught up with Councillor Abi Brown, the leader of Stoke-on-Trent Council and what her year has been like.
Episode hosted by Jonathan Carr-West and Ingrid Koehler.
