This briefing reviews the findings of the recent Joseph Rowntree Foundation report, Anxiety Nation?: Economic insecurity and mental distress in 2020s Britain. The paper analyses data from the annual Understanding Society survey (covering 2019-20) and looks at 12 indicators of mental health and wellbeing.
