Visions to Actions: Heritage, communities & partnerships at landscape-scale

How can you turn a Vision for landscape-scale working into Action through the power of uniting in partnership? Whether you are experienced in this way of working, or looking to establish a new collaboration, join us in the central belt of Scotland for two days of sharing inspiring stories, best practise and your experiences. Download the agenda from the IFLI website here.

Book for the full two days including the conference meal, or select to attend one day. Visions to Actions is hosted by the Inner Forth Landscape Initiative (IFLI). All tickets for these events are free of charge thanks to funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Thursday 16th August 09:30 – 16:45: Visions to Actions Conference. During the conference you will hear first-hand from a range of programmes and partnership projects working to deliver diverse benefits for communities and natural, cultural and built heritage at a landscape-scale. Morning keynote talks from Anne McCall, Director at RSPB Scotland and Drew Bennellick, Head of Land & Nature at Heritage Lottery Fund. Afternoon workshops are focused on monitoring & evaluation; fundraising and developing partnerships – delegates will be asked to select which to attend from early July. The day will include generous networking time over lunch (provided).

Thursday 16th August 18:30: Optional conference meal.

Friday 17th August 09:00 – 16:30: Visions to Actions Inner Forth projects bus tour. The bus tour will take you to four sites where the Inner Forth Landscape Initiative has been delivering its ambitious vision since 2014. Members of the IFLI partnership will be on hand to introduce you to the landscape and sites plus answer your questions. Lunch will be provided.

Please ensure that you arrange overnight accommodation if required. Until 27th June the venue (Macdonald Inchyra Hotel) is holding a limited number of bedrooms for delegates at the preferential rate of £105 B&B – if you wish to book this accommodation please contact the Hotel directly on 01324 711911 quoting reference 37581162. Alternatively Polmont and Grangemouth have a number of hotels and B&B’s a short taxi journey or walk away. Amongst the closest are Falkirk East Premier Inn, Travelodge Falkirk and Metro Inns Falkirk.
