Following the publication of the Government’s landmark National Plan to End Homelessness in December 2025, the Local Government Information Unit (LGIU) and leading housing consultancy Campbell Tickell are co-hosting a timely and interactive webinar to address the escalating demand for Temporary Accommodation (TA) facing most local authorities across England and how far the new strategy goes to address these challenges.

Temporary Accommodation is fast becoming one of the most critical and high-profile service pressures for local authorities. The underlying drivers—including sustained high demand, rising costs, and a tightening housing market—have resulted in significant and mounting financial implications for councils nationwide. Increasing budget pressures have meant many councils are elevating the management and delivery of TA as a strategic and authority-wide priority.
