Swindon Construction Summit

The Swindon Construction Summit will be hosted by Cllr David Renard, Swindon Borough Council, and is supported by LGiU and CITB, the Sector Skills Council and Industry Training Board for the construction sector. The summit will bring together council representatives, local construction firms and training providers to look at the role of the construction industry in Swindon and Wiltshire and to examine how best to support skills and training to deliver local economic growth.  The summit will seek to understand local skills needs and address what suitable solutions might look like. This event, which forms part of a national series, will examine the important role local government can play in supporting the construction sector and local skills needs.
