Following the UK’s activation of Article 50 in March, and the snap general election, the negotiations on its EU withdrawal began in June. In this public lecture, Scottish Liberal Democrats Leader Willie Rennie MSP will set out his perspective on Scotland’s future relationship with the EU.

Speakers:
Willie Rennie MSP Leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats and Member of the Scottish Parliament for North East Fife. He was Chief Executive of the Scottish Liberal Democrats and the party’s Chief of Staff at the Scottish Parliament between 1997 and 2001. Mr Rennie was Member of Parliament for Dunfermline and West Fife from 2006 to 2010, during which time he served as a member of the Commons Defence Select Committee, Shadow Defence Minister and Chairman of the party’s Campaigns and Communications Committee. He entered the Scottish Parliament and became party leader in Scotland in 2011.
