The LGiU is offering a new service for members to discover more about their individual personality behaviours and traits, including an online test with a personalised profile report and confidential feedback.
Psychometric testing is something you may be aware of, you may have even taken a test previously, but do you understand how testing is used and who benefits from it? Career development, recruitment and selection are certainly some of the areas where tests can enhance the quality of the information in decision making.
This workshop provides an insight into psychometric testing together with an opportunity to discover your hidden or unknown strengths.
Key outcomes:
- Learning what psychometric testing is and how different tests are used
- An opportunity to take part in a simulation exercise followed by a post-course test with bespoke feedback on your personality traits and behaviours
- Understanding how a local authority benefits from using performance tests
