The Hertfordshire Builders’ Breakfast event will examine the health of the UK construction industry and will bring together local construction firms and councillors from across the East.
The meeting is hosted by George A Robertson, Chief Executive of East Herts District Council, and supported by LGiU and CITB-ConstructionSkills, the Sector Skills Council and Industry Training Board for the construction sector.
The meeting will address the role of the construction industry in the current economic context and we will use the event to release the latest industry forecasts for the East of England. Speakers will include Judy Lowe, Deputy Chairman of CITB-ConstructionSkills, Dr Jonathan Carr-West, Chief Executive of LGiU, and our host, George A Robertson, Chief Executive of East Herts District Council.
Refreshments will be served at the start of the meeting.
Invitations should already have been received by relevant officers and elected members at LGiU member councils, but we would welcome those with an interest to get in touch.
