What does good corporate planning look like? How can you go beyond the council plan and have more impact?

Join us on Thursday 3 June at 12pm AEST and hear expert panellists Zoe Pappas from Right Lane, Ricky Tozer from Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council, and Phil Medley from Maroondah City Council discuss practical tips for getting the most out of your strategic planning.

Zoe Pappas will reveal how to have more impact through good corporate planning, Ricky Tozer will share insights into integrated planning and reporting as a tool for effective operations and Phil Medley will discuss the journey towards implementing the new local government planning and reporting requirements. LGiU Australia Lead Luke Nicholls will moderate this live Q&A event.

Speakers:

Zoe Pappas is a Principal at purpose-driven management consulting firm Right Lane. Zoe has extensive experience in leading strategy, planning, growth and organisation projects in the financial services, retail, healthcare and government sectors. In the past three years, Zoe has worked on nearly 130 consulting projects and facilitated over 200 workshops, primarily with executive teams and boards.

Ricky Tozer is the Service Manager, Workplace and Governance at Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council and has been involved with the delivery of Council’s Integrated Planning and Reporting suite of documents for the past 10 years.

Phil Medley, Team Leader Council and Community Planning at Maroondah City Council, is responsible for overseeing the Council’s corporate strategy, social policy, community planning and community development functions.

Luke Nicholls, LGiU Australia lead and Principal & Partner at SGS Economics and Planning, is an experienced public and private sector CEO and senior executive. He has specialist expertise in strategy, planning and implementation complemented by city planning, environmental law and local government expert knowledge.
