The Frailty Strategic Planning Group are holding an Ageing Well in Dundee consultation event on Tuesday 23rd April from 9.30am to 3pm in the Steeple Church, to show the range of services that have been developed as a result of the last Older People’s Strategy and the development of the Health and Social Care Partnership.
We are seeking views on how these services are being delivered to the people of Dundee. We want to know if the services are being delivered as planned and what we can do to improve them. We are looking for feedback to help us to develop the next action plan and strategy.
We will showcase and discuss 5 areas of service provision related to early intervention in the community; support to keep you living well at home for longer; support in other homely settings; hospital and care home care. Each of these sessions will be followed by a table discussion.
The event will be attended by around 100 people of whom half will be older people. There are two ticket types – one for Professionals and one for Older People. Lunch will be provided. The event will commence at 10am with tea, coffee and registration taking place at 9.30am.
If you require transport to attend the event, please get in touch by 16th April. Please note the nearest carpark to the venue is in the Overgate shopping centre.
