What is the Chief Executive Knowledge Exchange?

LGIU’s Chief Executive Knowledge Exchange is a two day programme led by LGIU and hosted in partnership with an LGIU member council, bringing together local government chief executives from across the UK and Ireland.

With places limited, the programme provides an exclusive setting for chief executives to explore shared challenges and opportunities, build connections, and exchange ideas and innovative solutions through peer learning.

LGIU’s 2025 Chief Executive Knowledge Exchange took place over two days in Fife, Scotland, showcasing major regeneration, education and green energy projects across the region.
