“Taking forward Community Budgets” Report from the Commons and Local Government Select Committee

Summary

‘- The Communities and Local Government Select Committee has published its initial report on Community Budgets.

– They believe that Community Budgets have the potential to bring significant benefits and transform the manner in which services are managed and provided. However, the Committee believes that it is too early to make firm conclusions. So it will continue to monitor developments with a view to publishing a full report in 2013.

– This briefing will be of interest to a range of executive members/portfolio holders and senior officials, in particular those with responsibilities for family policy and services.
