Summary

The Oireachtas continue to sit on a limited basis throughout March, and as the Dáil broke up for the Easter recess there was a profound sense that the progress of the vaccine roll out over the next 8-10 weeks were going to be crucial. Meanwhile, tensions continued to increase in Northern Ireland as unionist attitudes towards the Northern Ireland Protocol hardened.
