Summary
The Centre for International Research on Care, Labour and Equalities (CIRCLE) at Leeds University has carried out a national evaluation of the Department of Health’s Demonstrator Sites programme which aimed to improve carers’ health and wellbeing. The evaluation report on which this briefing is based contains numerous examples of good and innovative practice and will be valuable for those developing carers’ support strategies in local authorities and for health and wellbeing boards in taking an integrated approach.
