Summary

In the light of Boris Johnson’s 15 July speech where he announced they will soon be setting out how the government would deliver the central purpose of his premiership – ‘to level up and unite the whole United Kingdom’, local authorities looking on should now use the summer recess to review and refresh their approaches to levelling up, devolution and local economic agendas.
