Housing supply in England

Summary

The government have said 300,000 extra homes could be provided each year by the mid-2020s. The most recent figures for housing supply show that 217,350 extra homes were delivered, or created, in England during 2016-17. We consider these figures here and comment on the releted measures announced in the Budget.
