Cities Outlook 2022: Centre for Cities report



The Centre for Cities has published research on the pandemic’s impact on urban high streets and their prospects for recovery. Covid-19 restrictions cost businesses a third of their potential takings and thousands of outlets have closed. Surprisingly, the pandemic hit stronger places the hardest, whereas weaker high streets have fared better.
