This briefing examines the impact of domestic abuse on children and young people and how early intervention works to improve their safety and wellbeing, and contributes to improving their long-term outcomes after experiencing such adversity. It then goes on to highlight several early intervention approaches and services around Scotland that work to improve outcomes for children and young people who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse.
