A few weeks on from its announcement, it is timely to reflect on the Budget’s implications for the key issue of housing supply. This briefing summarises the main housing provisions which feature significant expenditure proposals, especially for social housing with increased emphasis on new-build, along with new measures to promote “affordable” housing.
