Beauty in the eye of the post-holder? Planned changes to the National Planning Policy Framework


National planning rules will soon include the word ‘beauty’ for the first time since the creation of the modern planning system in 1947. The consultation also includes other proposed changes to the National Planning Policy Framework, including new restrictions on local authority powers to withdraw permitted development rights.
