Would you like to help local government explore and develop current policy?
We are looking for additional associates to write occasional briefings for us on a variety of subjects:
- local government finance with particular knowledge of Scottish local government finance
- health and social care
- children’s social care
- environmental health
- planning
- technology and data issues
- organisational development and human resources
- international local government
Associates should have an understanding of how local government works and, if relevant, experience of working in a council, combined authority or similar. They also need excellent writing skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
LGIU has offices in England, Scotland and Ireland, and delivers a service in Australia with a partnership organisation. We are increasingly working across the four countries.
