A big thank you to all those who submitted a nomination for the LGiU & CCLA C’llr Achievement Awards. We’ve had another brilliant intake this year and we’ve been constantly impressed by the examples of councillors’ hard work and innovation described in the applications. Councillors can often be the unsung heroes of their community so the awards offer a valuable opportunity to celebrate their contributions. Every nomination is an important act of recognition of their efforts and we thank you for your time in making these.
We will be posting updates about the C’llr Awards on the blog and we hope to publish a shortlist of councillors for all awards on our website by the end of week. Applicants shortlisted for the Bruce-Lockhart Member Scholarship will be invited to our judging day on Tuesday 5th February.
